G-BETI Rebuild

Pitts S-1 Rebuild Project

G-BETI is a Pitts S-1D built by Brian Bray in Leicester, UK, in the late 1970s/early 1980s. This aircraft was the first of a number of Pitts built in the Leicester area.

The aircraft was flown by Brian Bray and competed successfully in aerobatic competitions flown by Barry Tempest and Brian Gandy.

The aircraft was sold to Peter Metcalfe who operated the aircraft for many years until sold to the current owners after a landing accident.

Neil Scully, Dave Puleston and David Brothers have rebuilt the aircraft to pristine condition.
